Jacob, Iris, and I parked Air and Goong's car on one side. They parked our car on the other side. We started on opposite ends in hope to find each other in the middle, save gas money, and be free to drive wherever we want after we finished, & not make so many trips back and forth w/ the cars.
Half way through Jacob, Iris, and I still had not seen Air and Goong. We even stopped, had lunch, and still they were nowhere in sight. We knew it was a big trail, but we had to cross each other eventually. After lunch we kept walking, and not too long after thought we saw them in the distance. We had to wait and wait to be sure, but as they trudged down a mountain and we came closer, we knew it was them!
We were so excited. As it turns out starting at the finish is pretty deadly, and that's why it took them so long. Nonetheless, we were glad to see them, have a quick chat, and then continue to finish the next 8 or 9 kilometers!
