Hello! Today is the beginning of the three month long journey. I cannot believe I leave in less than 2 hours. Soon my parents will take me to the airport and drop me off for my flight to Los Angeles where I will meet up with my Aunt Sue. I will stay with her until Sunday, and then leave for NZ.
My backpack is about 21 pounds...not to bad. I hope everyone has a lovely three months, and keeps up with me on the blog!
The picture below is my boyfriend Hugo, and me. Hugo's 18th birthday was Tuesday, so we have been celebrating. Unfortunately it didn't last long, since I decided to leave him two days later. However, I will be back in December. (I love you Hugo!!!) And I am sending love to everyone else :)
